Inside Mount Top-Down Bottom-Up Shades

Thanks to your valuable feedback and a close look at remake trends, we've made a specification update for Cordless TDBU shades.

Effective July 15th, 2025, Inside Mount Top-Down Bottom-Up shades will no longer be available to order with returns. 

This update is being made to help avoid the larger light gaps that can occur on either side of the shade when returns are used for inside mount.

If returns are needed for an inside mount Top-Down Bottom-Up shade, please order it as outside mount with returns and subtract 1" from the overall width. This will leave a 1/2" gap on either side for the shade fabric, and the valance will be 1/4" wider on either side to create a clean corner with the returns. 

This change will be reflected in the next version of the Portfolio Collection Natural Shade, Walden Premier, and Walden Select product guides. A warning will also appear in the ordering system to help prevent errors going forward.
