Production Times
Chinese New Year is January 29, 2025. While our factories will observe the holiday, they are working hard to ensure minimal disruptions in production times. We do not expect to see significant delays. Production times are expected but not guaranteed. Production times are estimated for the time it will take your order to ship from our factory after it has been placed. They do not include transit time for delivery. We will continue to provide confirmation updates on existing orders should their production time be affected by this delay. Single Shade Maximum Length
Natural Roller Shade Collection We are pleased to announce that we have extended the maximum length for all Natural Roller Shade fabrics to 108”. This change applies for single shades only. Double shades will remain available with a 96" maximum length. Open Roll Shades - Bracket Covers We have also adjusted the programming for open roll shades to make it clearer when bracket covers will be added. If you have a current open quote for a Natural Roller Shade order with open roll brackets, please revalidate the quote before sending the order through to ensure it aligns with the new programming. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes. Our new system uses Coulisse Absolute Sliding Panel hardware. There is no price increase for this new system. The system uses improved hardware for better installation and operation. Panels have a smoother glide in the new track with easy passage of panels. We've made some specification changes to motorized shades from this collection. Installation Bracket We've improved the installation bracket for motorized shades. All shades will now use the 1 3/4" installation bracket. This will reduce the flush mounting depth for motorized shades to 3". It will also reduce the gap between the wall and the back of the shade for outside mount applications. AC Motor Minimum The AC motor now has a minimum width of 22 1/8". This change has been updated in our ordering system.  We are excited to announce our updated Walden Premier Collection will be available to order starting July 1, 2024. The updated collection features new options and patterns. See full details below.
New PatternsThe update features 11 new patterns that bring new textures and colors to the collection. In the pattern update we focused on adding options for current color trends including more bright white and soft neutral tones as well as darker browns and blacks. You will also find patterns with soft, unique textures.
New Edge Binding StyleA new Ramie edge binding style has been added, which features a soft texture and colors that are better suited for modern decor. Twill tape edge binding will remain available as well.
New LinersGray and Black light-filtering liners are also available.

The new WCMA standard for corded window shades comes into effect on June 1, 2024. As a result, we are making important changes to the configuration of our products. Woven Wood Shades, Natural Shades, and Fabric Roman Shades According to the new standard, we will not be able to ship Woven Wood Shades, Natural Shades, and Fabric Roman Shades with cord locks after June 1st. To make sure we are in full compliance with the new standard, we will stop taking new orders for cord lock shades starting April 15, 2024. Our product guides have been revised to include cordless as the base control option for these programs. Updated product guides can be downloaded on the Pro Design website by following the link below. After April 15, 2024, we will not be able to remake malfunctioning shades with cord locks, and we will offer to either repair these shades or to replace them with cordless or clutch control. We will work with you on a case-by-case basis to determine the best outcome for your customer. All Collections We will also be introducing a new tensioner for clutch control in all our shade collections, as our current tensioner is not compliant with the new standard. We will start shipping shades with the new tensioner as soon as we have inventory, which will be before June 1, 2024. Panel styles include Flat, Knife Pleat, Front Slat, and Hobbled. The standard lift option for this collection is cordless. As we approach the holiday, order confirmations will have expected ship dates adjusted. See below for our recommendations on dates to order by to have orders ship before Chinese New Year. Recommended order dates apply for new orders, remakes, and rush requests. Please note, the dates listed below are expected.
