Over the past several weeks we have seen increased charges from our freight partners for shipments of long folding doors. We, unfortunately, must increase our net freight surcharge for folding doors ordered 93" in length and longer. Folding doors ordered 93" in length or longer will have a net freight surcharge of $100. All lengths shorter than 93" will continue with our current net freight surcharge of $40. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this causes. Our Sliding Panel specifications have been corrected in our product guides. The specifications detailed below apply for Sliding Panels from both our Walden Premier and Walden Select Collections. All One-Way Sliding Panels will be made with the back panel stationary and a front lead panel.  Split-Draw Sliding Panels with 6 or 8 panels will also be made with the back panel stationary and a front lead panel.  Split-Draw Sliding Panels with 4 panels will be made with the front left and back right panel stationary.  PRODUCT GUIDESYou can always find the most up-to-date versions of our collection product guides in the Vendor Resources section of the Pro Design website! >>Product Guides CORDLESS ROLLER SHADE DEVELOPMENTAs the window treatment industry moves toward cord-free applications, we are working to develop new construction options that will allow us to offer a completely cord-free roman shade that is combined with a roller shade lift mechanism. In this new method, the roman shade is attached to a wood head rail and is made with small rib pockets sewn into the liner along the back edges of the shade. A cordless roller shade is attached to the wood headrail and follows down the length of the roman shade. Ribs are inserted into the rib pockets of the roman shade, catching the roller shade between the roman shade and ribs. The roller shade and roman shade operate in tandem using the roller shade’s cordless lift mechanism. The shade is raised by pushing up or pulling down on the bottom bar of the roller shade, allowing the shade to stop at any preferred position. This construction method eliminates the need for any attached or hanging lift cords and offers a completely cord-free roman shade. We are continuing our efforts in developing this new method for our Natural Shade Collections as well as a new Fabric Roman Shade Collection.
 The Pro Hub will be available starting October 3, 2022 for all of our shade collections. Please note the Pro Hub will replace the Mini Hub. The Pro Hub offers additional Internet connectivity options and can be connected directly to routers with an Ethernet cable, making it compatible with all Internet speeds and Fiber Optic Internet. For customers who prefer wireless connections, the Pro Hub can also be paired through 2.4 GHz wifi signals. >>Watch Pairing Through Ethernet >>Watch Pairing Through Wifi Pro Hubs have a range of approximately 100'. For homes with shades on multiple floors, we suggest ordering one hub per floor. What's IncludedPro Hubs are shipped with a 48" Ethernet cable and 40" power cable. This includes Harbor Golden (WS-0427) from the Walden Select Collection which was previously on ordering stop. We appreciate your patience with us as we restocked our inventory. We are currently experiencing longer than usual transit times with orders that ship through Shanghai with UPS. While our production times remain stable for our shade collections, you may find that tracking numbers take an additional 10-14 days to move after the order has been turned over to UPS.
This is due to shipping backlogs caused by COVID 19 related shutdowns that are slowing UPS' shipping capacity. Starting September 15, we will begin noting order and shipment confirmations with a reminder about these shipping delays. You will continue to receive order confirmations that include your order's expected ship date from our factory; this date reflects our current production time. You will also receive shipping confirmations with tracking information once the order has been shipped from our factory and is received by UPS or DHL. Once tracking information is received for your order, please allow an additional 10-14 days to see movement on the package. As always, we advise to hold on scheduling installation appointments until you have orders in hand. |
